we had an equiry about on of our pups, the woman had sent an e-mail through e-pupz (yep i know what your thinking), she said she was buying for a friend in the cayman isles. the friend wanted a dog from us and a bitch from somewhere else because she wanted to have just one litter ! so, deleted the message . my husband had a phone call and was speaking to a woman who was buying a pup and was wanting another so they might have one litter , mmmm. i didnt think ne more of it as the woman said the price was a bit steep and would have to speak to hubby. i got a phone call whilst feeding the pups so it went on to answer machine, a woman left a message so i returned the call, the woman that answered wasn't sure who she was at first so i said i was returning a call about gsd pups, she said o the lady with the bitch, i asked had we spoken already? she quickly apologised and said she mistook me for someone else. so asked her what the pupose of buying pup was and she said she was buying it for a friend in the cayman isles and they wanted a dog fromme and a bitch from someone else so that they could breed a litter !!!! At this point i am not happy i asked what her friend knew about breeding and she told me that she was going to do someresearch into it, and that she was going to help her because she bred yorkshire terriers.... i told her i had someone coming to look at the dog pup and if they diidnt want him i would ring her. (liar liar) so i spoke to nick and he said it sounded like the woman he spoke to the other day,he said he wasn't happy about the whole situation nor was i. i phoned her back the next day and was just telling her that the pup was still here and that we had another enquiry from another woman for her friend, when she interupted me and said she had found the puppies she wanted to send to the cayman isles, i was so angry because she had phoned us before and not been honest with us, it was that reason i did not want one of my pups to go to the cayman islands, had she been honest with us i may of considered it (may).There i feel much better now _________________ love me ,love my dogs.

Sounds very fishy to me, just glad that you didnt sell her a pup, the woman was lying through her back teeth by the sound of things and I reckon they would be wanting more than one litter.
Another point, if they were going to do research, wouldn't they have researched the pups liniage ect first and decided on which lines they would like to be using to make sure that there were now faults ect carried by the lines? it sounds like they were not bothered where the pups came from as long as they could mate them and have litters, I feel sorry for the two pups that have been sold to them from other people. _________________ www.freewebs.com/sarjettegsd/

Something sounds fishy to me as well, i have heard of 3rd party enquiries like this before which have turned out to be bogus, we will not sell a puppy to an agent or a 3rd party, and we have this stipulation in our contracts.. _________________
glad you allagree, as i thought it might have been my maternal instincts kicking in, i also asked her about the lines and what possible faults there could be steve, she just said she knew a little on genetic faults. so glad i went with my gut feeling. _________________ love me ,love my dogs.
