Do any of you use a head collar on their dog .. we use a canny head collar on rebus and he hates it although it doesn't ride up the face like some !! Any suggestions as to a good head collar ... I have experience of halti's and gentle leaders but like neither ...... Sad

I have used them a long time ago, but to be honest i dont really like them. I know people that use them and get on really well with them, and thats great, especially if it means your able to walk your dog much easier, but they are not for me.

totally agree karen Very Happy

..I only use one when rebus is walked with the others as he gets so excited .. he is fine when its just him being walked but a nightmare when with the others ( he is fine on the way home though lol).. excitable and strong pup!!!

I have used both the halti and gentle leader,dont like them though,i have heard good reports about the dogamatic though:)

but

when i take more than one dog out i use leather dogmatics on the adult gsds they r brill i can walk 4 dogs easy when they have dogmatics on

i only use head collars as a last resort, but depending on the situation they can be a life saver.
